Christopher Andreozzi, 51, of Greenville, SC, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024, in Providence, RI, surrounded by his loving family.

He was a devoted father to Megan(Jacob) Andreozzi and Ryan (Taylor) Andreozzi, and a proud grandfather to Layla. Chris is also survived by his mother, Cynthia (David) Robnson, his brother, Tyler (Kelsey) Almeida, his grandmother, Barbara Gardner, his father Ronald (Maureen) Andreozzi, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.  He was predeceased by his aunt, Sandra Fayne, and his grandfather, Robert Gardner.

A skilled carpenter and painter, Chris was self-employed and often worked on projects for neighbors and friends. He was known for his generosity, kindness, and politeness to all he knew. Once, he even gave his last pair of boots to someone he barely knew so they had shoes to wear, while he continued home in his socks. He often remarked at times like these, “I don’t care about money or material things.”

Chris had a passion for working with wood, fishing, politics, and Asian food.  He cared for his bonsai plants In Greenville.  He was proud of the bow he made from an ash tree on his mother’s property.  He loved animals, especially his cats Sango and Saké. He was especially proud of his children, and his new granddaughter.

Most recently, Chris was visiting his granddaughter Layla in Providence, RI, to celebrate her 1st birthday and spend much needed quality time with his granddaughter and his children. Back home in Greenville, SC, he helped his mother and step-dad take care of their animal menagerie of two goats and four chickens.

Although sometimes shy around neighbors, Chris could be engaging and funny. He often would respond to a question with a numerous remark making everyone laugh. He loved skateboarding, playing cards, and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for the family in a future time to be determined.

In keeping with Chris’ generosity and charity, the family requests that friends share their generosity with those in need, in Chris's memory.

Arrangements entrusted to Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence.
